Who We Help:

Looking for Physical Therapy in Santa Barbara?

At Pieton Physical Therapy we love helping active women who want to live life to the fullest without being held back by pains, leaks, or limitations! If that’s you, then you’ve come to the right place!

Welcome! I’m Dr. Christine Pieton, owner and founder of Pieton Physical Therapy. As a sport and women’s pelvic health physical therapist, I’m passionate about supporting my fellow ladies feel strong and confident in their bodies from the inside out, especially during their prenatal and postpartum periods. I work together with my patients, listening to their needs in order to help develop a plan of care that enables them to achieve their health and wellness goals so they can live their lives to the fullest without pains, leaks, or limitations! I don’t settle for passive solutions or band-aides. I strongly believe in using movement as medicine, helping women understand the how and why behind moving with purpose, so that they can get back to the activities they love, without fear or hesitations.

My personal approach is one of collaboration and teamwork. This includes creating a safe space for my patients to feel seen, heard, and supported throughout our work together. I see heath and wellness as a relationship that evolves over time, and one that I believe deserves regular nurturing in order to truly thrive. The women who choose to work with me share these same core values, and want to live their lives most fully. They aren’t satisfied with the generic advice they’ve been given by other healthcare providers, like:

Those recommendations don’t fly with me or my patients. I work with women who want to be active participants in their lives, regardless of age or circumstance, and I fully support that mission. We get to the root of your “why” and design a plan to help you reach your goals!

If you’re looking for someone to work with you and support your health and wellness goals, then we would love to set up a time to talk on the phone to help answer your questions and share how we can help. If you’ve tried a lot of things already, that’s not a bad thing. In fact, it’s actually a good thing because we now know what DOESN’T work and are closer to finding out what WILL work for your problem.
